Ok, so I think you will be glad to know that FINALLY we are re-designing this website!
What does that mean? Well it means that there will no longer be this ugly, default design. We will have a new, jquery-fied top notch kick ass website just for YOU!.
Also, we are going to be accepting new clients after Christmas, so if you want a website designed get in touch!
Ok, so I was looking through my Adobe Kuler App for a nice colour scheme for my website. I have NO idea what to go for to be honest, there are so many there.
I was thinking of going for a nice blue colour but I don’t know yet.
Ok, so there are very few web safe fonts out there… Around a dozen that are truly web safe. But that’s where our friends at http://typekit.com/ come in. They have made an awesome service that requires a small bit of Javascript in the headers of your site, and you can have any font you want! Typekit has a massive library of fonts, but its not all free. The free version limits you to… 5 websites I think, but you can get unlimited for $50 a year. Its an amazing service, and I think I might just use it here.
P.S: You can even use http://localhost/ as one of the sites, for local developing xD

Oh, well in that case. I’m currently working on replacing the website of a company that specialise in flat roofs. http://techniques-flat-roofing.co.uk/ they are a local firm, based not too far from where I am. They want a nice, modern design and that’s exactly what I am going to give them.
They want a fast way to add edit and delete pages without all the useless bits. So I’m building them a CMS from the ground up tailored directly to their needs. The great thing about making my own CMS is that there will be no confusion when using it. There won’t be anything that doesn’t need to be there.
